Purposeful @67: A Birthday Celebration That Became a Legacy of Hope
Some celebrations end with applause. Others begin a movement.
Purposeful @67 was more than a birthday celebration—it was a powerful reminder that one life dedicated to a greater purpose can inspire countless others to give, to hope, and to heal.
Through the generosity and vision of Ms. Lynn Monsanto, her 67th birthday became a meaningful fundraising event in support of Anchor of Hope & Strength, Inc., transforming a personal milestone into a mission of compassion. The evening successfully raised nearly ₱500,000, providing hope, care, and encouragement to cancer warriors and their families.
Every part of the celebration reflected the spirit of faith, generosity, and community. Guests were uplifted through heartfelt worship, inspiring testimonies from courageous cancer warriors, and the symbolic Tree of Hope, where every pledge represented a promise that no one has to face cancer alone.
The overwhelming support shown through event registrations, generous donations, raffle purchases, live auctions, sponsorships, and heartfelt giving demonstrated the incredible impact that can be achieved when people unite for a common purpose.
One of the evening’s most meaningful messages was simple yet profound:
Hope is strongest when it is shared.
The event was further enriched by the presence of distinguished guests, including Ms. Chiqui Pablo of DZME, whose testimony as a cancer survivor inspired everyone in attendance, and Ms. Chinkee Mangcucang, Executive Director for Brand Communications of The Daily Tribune, whose participation added grace and encouragement to the celebration.
The evening also brought together respected leaders and valued partners, including Dr. Josh Ramos of Menra International, Mr. Daniel Dawal of Kuyatech IT Services, and members of Haggai Philippines – Metro Manila Chapter, led by Gov. Grace Padaca, along with Celine Lim, Leah Ponio, Carol Bataller, and Ysa Trinidad. Special appreciation is extended to Ms. Princess Anne Domingo and the entire organizing committee whose dedication and hard work made this purposeful event possible.
More than celebrating another year of life, Purposeful @67 reminded everyone that the greatest legacy is not measured by the number of birthdays celebrated, but by the lives touched and transformed through love, generosity, and service.
